Impression of Xian - the wall.  By the end of June, I went to Xian for the National Assembly of the fourth school physical education, and had a tourism by the way.

At 18:00 on the 27th, we sat in Xian train bound from Anyang, embarked on a journey to the West. In my mind, Xian's dilapidated and poor security are one of the best in the country. As University graduated, I learned a lot about the negative reports of Xian, of which the impression has been not good, until the year before that in the renovation of the tourism environment in Xian, and the city construction work in areas, I gradually made a good impression of Xian, of this travel has also been hoping for more.

6:30 am the next day, we got off, friends' students Li, had waited us at the station early. Under her arrangement we started our journey in Xian. As the station was outside the north wall of the city wall, so out of the station first thing in our eyes was the Xian city wall. The Wall is tall, imposing, and consistent from the west to the east, brick walls also show its solemn and stately, towering walls of the tower has the tolerance, standing proudly above the modern hustle and bustle. In chatting with the taxi drivers, we knew that the height of the walls was more than 7 or 8 miles, circumference of 45 miles, in order to develop tourism, Xian has declared the city wall as the world cultural heritage, and invested huge funding in recent years for renovation, repaired the station before the final section, and to facilitate the opening to the broken road, and now revised several span 70, 80 m arch bridge-like walls to make up the walls of the defect, but also meet the convenience of the modern travel.

In the later arrangement, there were plans to tour the area of the wall. In the morning on 28th, a friend arranged for us to go to the College Doors to visit Xian's cultural essence, by the way to let us look at the wall and told us 20 yuan for the fare, with children half price. In accordance with the arrangements for our friend, we arrived the south gate at 10:30. South Gate is called Yongning Gate, is one of the largest and most magnificent gates among Xian city wall. The wall has five storey, the city government opened  in front and at back of the door specific large squares and green spaces for people to look at, rest, and nostalgia. Gates were used with red paint, brass doornail, showing the pack of royal style. Its inner city is as great as two basketball courts, there are stairs to board the wall. But we still failed to board, that was a regret. Since the time was not sufficient, and so we gave up the wall board in the downstairs shade of a tree to rest and then was back to the hotel. The next contact with the wall was before the return. Before the return I was to prepare a souvenir for my friends. We walked from the College gate, along a straight path to the wall cultural roots, we feel profound culture in Xian, the left is the Confucius Temple and the Xian Beilin Museum, the right is the tall majestic walls, we re-cultured under the impact of these two hearts full of respect for Xian, had a fear of history, that proud arose spontaneously.
