- Our tour guide will meet you at Xian airport. Tour begins. Terracotta Warriors is a must-see while travelling in Xian. We arrange it as your first stop today. Your tour guide will take you to this great wonder made by ancient Chinese. After lunch, continuet to visit the Shaanxi Museum and Big Goose Pagoda-the landmark of Xian. Here is the end of this compact one-day trip. Transfer to airport to take your return flight.
- Terracotta Warriors: Life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses arranged in battle formations symbolically guard the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang , the first emperor of the Qin dynasty (246-209B.C). The State Council authorized the building of a museum on the site in 1975 for the protection of the discovery. So far, altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed and displayed in the museum. It is cited as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World' and was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages.
- Big Goose Pagoda: The pagoda (7 floors,64.5meters high) where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.
- Shaanxi Museum: The Shaanxi History Museum considers it an obligation to be a showcase of ancient civilizations. It is situated in the southern suburb of Xian City, northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.Since it was opened to the public in 1991, its architectural buildings, internal apparatus, and exhibits have made it famous as a first-class museum in China.
