  • Meet the guide at the airport and then transfer to check in the hotel. After a short rest, the guide will take you to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road.     - The Bund is the best-known landmark in Shanghai.   • Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. Then transfer to Suzhou by car/van/coach.
    - Shanghai Museum: used to be near the Bund. It is now situated in People's Square and its new buildings were built in 1996, designed by a Shanghai architect named Xing Tonghe. The new design symbolizes China's ancient understanding of the world: round sky and square earth. The museum has a circular roof and rectangular base. It stores 120,000 precious artifacts, which narrate a story of China's 5,000-year civilization.

    -Yu Garden is one of the most famous gardens in China and is national heritage listed. It was built in 1559 and extended in 1577. Each section of the garden is separated by curved white walls with the head and body of a dragon on them. It's named after the original owner.
  • Day 3 Suzhou  Shanghai

  • Visit the Tiger Hill, the Lion Grove Garden and the Lingering Garden. Then transfer back to Shanghai.
    - Tiger Hill: Tiger Hill (Huqiu) is probably the most famous sight of all in the city of Suzhou, and has a history that can be traced back over 2500 years. According to the Records of the Historian, this is the spot where the King of Wu, Fu Chai, buried his father, He Lu, in 496 BC during the spring and autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC), after He had perished in a war against the Yue.
    - Lion Grove Garden: Compactly yet harmoniously spaced, the Lion Grove Garden has a prominent part for series of man-made mountains with various buildings around the lake, and an artificial waterfall and cliffs at the edge of the lake on the west.
    - The Lingering Garden: was listed from the first as cultural relics of national importance in 1961. With an area of 23,310 sq.m, it is celebrated for its artistic way of dealing with the spaces between various kinds of architectural form.

  • After breakfast, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Take a flight to Wuhan. Upon arrival, visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. After dinner at a local popular restaurant, embark cruise ship and depart Wuhan at 19:00.
    - Jade Buddha Temple: Located at Anyuan Road it was built in the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty and has now seen a history of over 1000 years. The name of the temple is derived from the two jade Buddhas in the temple, one in sitting statue and another reclining, which were taken back from Myanmar.
    - Hubei Museum: Located on the East Lake, Hubei Museum is one of the best-known museums in China, treasuring up numerous State-level historic and cultural relics. The Chime Bells Hall in it displays mainly the relics unearthed from Zenghouyi Tomb.

    - Three Gorges Dam Project: It is the virtual definition of a monumental project - a dam one and a half miles wide and more than 600 feet high that will create a reservoir hundreds of feet deep and nearly 400 miles long. The project is China's Three Gorges Dam, and it has already been the subject of great international scrutiny. It is being called the largest construction project in China since the Great Wall. Many high-ranking Chinese officials expect the dam to become a potent symbol of their nation's vitality in the new century and the new millennium.

The nature scene is a great treasure. The panda house, the highlight of the zoo, will offer you wonderful experience.

  • Enjoy Li River cruise. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you may try a short bicycle trip to the u countryside and visit a local villager’s house to experiece the farmer’s life there. Then back to Guilin.

  • after visiting to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill, take the flight to Xian and transfer to check in the hotel.
    - Reed Flute Cave: Situated at the foot of Guangming Hill in northeastern Guiln, Reed Flute Cave got its name from the kind of reed growing immediately outside the cave entrance, which is used to make fine flutes. It has been a tourist attraction for more than 1,000 years. Inside the cave, there are various stalagmites, stone curtains, stone flowers and stone pillars, which constitute a unique charm, making it known as a palace of natural art.
    - Seven Star Park: It is one in the first batch of the highest level of National Tour Attractions, which officially recognized by China National Tourism Administration. Also, it is the biggest and most comprehensive parks in Guilin with an area of 134.7 hectares. With its long history and lots of attractions, such as Camel Hill, Natural Stone Hall, Seven-Star Cave and Crescent Pavilion and so on, it had been a seeing highlight since Sui and Tang Dynasties.
    - Elephant Trunk Hill: As the emblem of Guilin City, it lies at the meeting point of the Peach Blossom and Li Rivers, with Zi Sandbank to the east across the Li. Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangshan) is the badge of Guilin City, and was given its name because the hill looks exactly like an elephant drinking from the river with its trunk. It is a masterpiece of karst landscape, composed of pure limestone deposited on the sea floor 360 million years ago.

    - The Terracotta Museum: The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum, Lintong Country, Shaanxi province. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China.
    - Big Wild Goose Pagoda: As the symbol of the old-line Xian, Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City, about 4 kilometers from the downtown of the city. Standing in the Da Ci’en Temple complex, it attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion, its simple but appealing style of construction, and its new square in front of the temple. It is rated as a National Key Culture Relic Preserve as well as an AAAA Tourist Attraction.

    - Shaanxi History Museum: The Shaanxi History Museum is situated on Yan Ta Road in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It covers 65,000 square meters, with a building area of 60,000 square meters. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.

    -Great Mosque: The Great Mosque of Cordoba was considered to be a wonder of the medieval world by both Muslims and Christians. Built on a Visigoth site, which was probably the site of an earlier Roman temple, the Great Mosque of Cordoba was begun between 784 and 786 during the reign of 'Abd al-Rahman I, who escaped from Syria to the Iberian Peninsula after his family was massacred by a rival political dynasty.

    - Hanyangling Museum: Hanyangling, or the Hanyang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Liu Qi (188 -141 BC), the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, and his queen. It was built in 153 BC. This site is a relics site under State protection and one of the hot tourism destinations in the region.

  • Visit the imposing Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit the Sera Monastery and the Norbulingka Park. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.
    - Potala Palace: Tubo King Songtsan Gambo built The Potala Palace in the 7th century. It underwent renovation during the time of the 5th Dalai Lama Ngawang Lhosang Gyamco in the 17th century. However, the Potala Palace didn't undergo a thorough repair until the 1980s. Standing atop the Red Hill, the Potala Palace was built along the slope of the hill. It extends 360 meters from east to west and 140 meters from south to north. Rising 13 stories, the palace is 115.7 meters tall. Palace walls were erected with granite slabs, the thickest part measuring five meters.
    - Sera Monastery: lies on the southern slope of this mountain. Covering an area of 114,960 square meters, the monastery is comprised of Coqen Hall, three Zhacang dormitories for monks called Gyi, Mei and Ngaba, and some 30 Kangcun dorms for monks. The area is a Buddhist Mecca and also a favorite scenic spot in Lhasa.
    - Norbulingka Park: It used to be the Summer Palace for the dalai Lamas where they handled political affairs, and practiced religious activities. The construction started in 40s of the 18th century, covering a floor space of 46 ha. The whole park has more than 370 rooms of different sizes, and lawns, shaded by green trees and embraced by various flowers. With the clear water,and the flowers and trees around, it is known as the "park in the park".

    - Jokhang Temple: The Jokhang Monastery, located in downtown Lhasa, is a Buddhist hall for Tibetan Buddhists and a symbol of unity between the Tibetan and Han peoples. First built in the mid-7th century, the monastery was a temple in the shape of a two-story boat. After repeated expansion in the ensuing centuries, the monastery is now a combination of large buildings covering an area of 25,100 square meters.
    - Tibet Museum: was officially inaugurated in October of 1999, with a permanent collection that celebrates the History of Tibetan Culture. The design of the exhibit uses traditional Tibetan architecture such as Tibetan doors, beam-decoration, patterns and so on, in order to create the atmosphere of authentic Tibetan art.

  • Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Beijing Duck Dinner as dinner, followed by Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.
    - Tiananmen Square: Tian An Men (Gate of Heavenly Peace) was the main entrance to the Forbidden City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Built in 1417, it was first named the Cheng Tian Men, meaning that emperors obeyed the order of Heaven in ruling the country. Destroyed by fire twice, it was rebuilt in 1651 during the Qing Dynasty and renamed Tian An Men. It is also honored as the "Gate of the Nation." As one of the largest city squares in the world, Tian An Men Square occupies an area of 440, 000 square meters--spacious enough to accommodate half a million people. Many annual and special celebrations and assemblies are held here. On October 1st, 1949, Chairman Mao Ze Dong declared the founding of the People's Republic of China on the Tian An Men Rostrum, thus opening a new chapter in the history of China. In the new period of reforms and opening, Tian An Men, with its long history and rich culture, attracts people from all over the world.
    - Forbidden City: The Forbidden City also named the Palace Museum, shares the honor of being one of five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, and the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The palace, the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China, was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Building in 1987. It was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the construction of this group of buildings took fourteen years from 1406 to 1420. In the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it was the imperial palace where twenty-four emperors ascended the throne and exercised their strong power to the nation.
    -Temple of Heaven: At the Temple of Heaven Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911) worshiped Heaven and prayed for good harvests. The northern part of the outer surrounding wall is semi-circular; the southern part is square; this forms a pattern symbolic of the ancient belief that Heaven was round and the earth square. The double surrounding wall separates the temple into the inner and outer temples with the main structures in the inner one, covering 273 hectares

  • Visit the Badaling Great Wall. After lunch at a local popular restaurant, visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.
    - Badaling Great Wall: The Great Wall at Badaling is the best representative section of the Great Wall. It is more than 7 meters high and 5 meters wide. It was the strategic point of Juyongguan Pass in ancient times. Many other fortresses and beacon towers were constructed at the strategic points. This section of the Great Wall has drawn great attention from the Chinese government since the foundation of P.R. China. It was designated a major historical site under state protection in 1961. The Great Wall was listed "a World Cultural Heritage" by the UNESCO in 1987. The Great Wall at Badaling is preserved as a historical monument and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world.
    - The Ming Tombs: Located at the foot of the Tianshou Mountain in Changping District, Beijing, the Ming Mausoleums, occupying an area of 120 square kilometers, is well preserved and have the biggest number of emperors buried in the world.

    - Summer Palace: The Summer Palace landscape, dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, covers an area of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water surface. Its 70,000 square meters of building space features a variety of palaces, garden and other ancient-style architectural structures. Well known for its large and priceless collection of cultural artifacts, it was among the first group of historical and cultural heritage sites in China to be placed under special state protection.
