    Lingyin Temple: is a Buddhist temple of the Chan sect located northwest of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China. The temple's name is commonly literally translated as Temple of the Soul's Retreat. It is one of the largest and wealthiest Buddhist temples in China.

  • After breakfast, take a morning cruise on the West Lake, followed by the Leifeng Pagoda. Then transfer to Suzhou by train. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and have a good rest. The dinner will be served in a popular local restaurant. The guide will take you there.
    Leifeng Pagoda: It is a tower by the West Lake in Hangzhou which originally constructed
    in the year AD 975. It has been a popular tourist attraction since being rebuilt in 2002. It is
    one of the ten sights of the West Lake because of the Legend of the White Snake
    West Lake Cruise: The West Lake in Hangzhou is is a famous fresh water lake located in central Hangzhou. There are about 800 lakes of the same name in China, but the lake in Hangzhou is the most famous of these. Cruise on the West lake and enjoy its beauty.

  • Today's excursion includes the Grand Canal, the Humble Administrator’s Garden, the Hanshan Temple and the Tiger Hill.

    Grand Canal: The Grand Canal ranks alongside the Great Wall of China as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is the longest man-made waterway in world. Cruising the Canal in Suzhou you can see the local life of the people living on the both sides of the canal as well.

    Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou. It is centered upon the broad expanse of a lake, making up about one fifth of the total area. With well-spaced buildings, the garden landscape and water space are simple, extensive and natural, possessing the traditional appearances of the Ming Dynasty. It is divided into three parts; the eastern, middle and the western parts. The house lies in the south of the garden.

    Hanshan Temple was originally built during the reign of Tianjian in the Liang Dynasty. The poem of “ Mooring to the Maple Bridge at Night ” by Zhang Ji of the Tang Dynasty is so oft-quoted and widely loved that the poetic rhyme and the bell-tolling sounds have made the Hanshan Temple famous at home and abroad.

    Tiger Hill, known also as Surging Sea Hill, is a large hillock covering some14100 square meters (over three acres) and is 36 meters (118 feet) in height. Climbing the hill, you will find a number of historical sites some of which can be traced back over 2500 years to the founding of Suzhou.

  • After breakfast, drive to Wuxi. On arrival, visit the Turtle-hills Isle Park and Huishan Clay Figure Workshop. Have a Chinese lunch and then visit the Liyuan Garden. After that, transfer to Nanjing by train.
    Turtle Head Isle Park: Turtle Head Isle- Turtle Head Isle is the city’s most attractive park. It is actually not an isle at all but a peninsular shaped, unsurprisingly, like the head of a turtle. A small lighthouse stands at the western tip of the park. To its north is the dock, which operates ferries to the Three Hills Isles where the view of the Taihu Lake is spectacular.

    Liyuan Garden, is 10 km southwest of Wuxi and is in the north of Lihu Lake. The garden can be divided into two parts – the lake and the park itself. The park occupies 8.2 hectares and the lake is for 3.5 hectares. It is said that the great statesman, Fan Li who was the Minister of War in the Yue State during the Spring and Autumn Period, once lived here with his lover, Xi Shi who was one of the most well-known beauties in Chinese legend, after he resigned from the government. Fan Li advised Gou Jian – the king of Yue and helped him in his conquest of Wu. In memory of Fan Li, the garden takes one character from his name.

  • Visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and the Confucius Temple.

    Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum: The Mausoleum of Dr.Sun Yat-sen is situated on the southern slope of the Zijinshan Mountain (Purple Gold Mountain) in the eastern suburb of of Nanjing. The remains of Dr. Sun, who was a pioneer of Chinese democratic revolution was buried here on June 1, 1929. The mausoleum, shaped like an alarm bell, is built at the foot of the mountain. A feeling of respect may be aroused when climbing by the steps.
    Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum: Xiaoling is the mausoleum of the first Ming Dynasty emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. It is one of the largest imperial mausoleums existing in China, as a historical monument put under state protection. In the place is a thick growth of age-old pine trees and cypresses, with a stream winding in the hills. Some famous ancient Buddhist temples and tombs are found here.
    Confucius Temple: The Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao) was originally built during the Song Dynasty and is situated on the north bank of the Qinhuai River. The entire area around the temple consists of a series of tourist shops, snack bars, restaurants and entertainment arcades all signed in "Ming" and "Qing" style architecture.
  • Day 6 Nanjing  Shanghai

  • Transfer to Shanghai by train. Your guide will wait you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel.
